Are PAMP parents your target audience? PAMP is the largest parent organization on the SF Peninsula with approximately 2,000 member families that simply want the best for our young children. We are a volunteer-led nonprofit 501(c)(3).

Promote your company or organization through PAMP when you join the Business Discount Program, Sponsorship Program, or sponsor a Large Event.

PAMP offers a range of Sponsorship opportunities to a select number of companies whose mission is aligned with ours, to enrich the lives of families with young children. All advertising and sponsorship fees are used to support PAMP’s wide array of programs, events and services.

 

Online Sponsorship Program 


Businesses that join the Online Sponsorship Program take advantage of a full range of advertising and marketing opportunities through our various online vehicles. There are four levels of sponsorship: Basic, Professional, Featured Business and Premium, starting at just $200 per month. See below for more details on each level.

Business Discount Program


Discounts are one of the biggest selling points for our members. The Discounts page is the second most popular hit off of the homepage. Businesses can promote themselves by offering PAMP members exclusive deals. A business discount listing is free, our only requirement is that offers are available for a minimum of 1 year. Listings appear on our Discounts page as text with a graphic logo that you provide, linked back to your website. Complete this online form and we’ll get back to you shortly.

Large Event Sponsorship & Partnership

Every year PAMP organizes three large community events: Rummage Sale (spring), Family Day (summer), and Preschool Fair (fall). Sponsor and partnership fees and structures vary depending on the type of event. Sponsorship for each Large Event includes recognition in all printed and online event promotional materials, recognition in Event Day programs and signage, and an invitation to set up a table/booth and meet & greet members.  Click on the specific event title in the table below for more info on each event.

Sponsor Benefits Summary

Weekly member emails:  We reach our members every week. Emails are fully designed and link through to sponsor & PAMP webpages.

Website/Members Only system:  Our full featured website has areas that are open to the public with content that is updated weekly. Other areas on our website are open to PAMP members only, for networking and connecting to each other. Your ads will be viewable by all public site visitors as well as all PAMP members.

Facebook: Premium and Professional Sponsors get dedicated Facebook posts on our page, promoting their business to our members

PREMIUM – Get featured in every email and on every webpage, and on Facebook  ($700/mo)

PROFESSIONAL – Get a dedicated post/"ad-itorial" in one email and on our homepage, and get logo/ad featured on secondary webpages. Get featured on our Facebook page ($500/mo)

Online Sponsor Benefits Details by Level

PAMP features sponsor ads on the website and in weekly member emails, as well as on our Members Only system

Website: We publish content that is fresh, fun and relevant to our parent community including articles, blog posts, sponsor posts, and PAMP news and events. Content is published on a rolling basis throughout the month and is shared with members via weekly newsletter emails.

Member Emails: PAMP reaches a distribution of 2,000+ via weekly newsletters. These newsletters include links to sponsor and PAMP webpages, driving traffic directly to sponsor sites and sponsor ads on our site.

Facebook: We have a very active Facebook page, and all Premium and Professional sponsors will get featured on our page during their month of sponsorship

Premium Sponsors

Get exposure in every email and every page of our website, in multiple locations:

  • Logo/Graphic Ad in Ad rotator on our homepage. A large (300x250 pixel) ad is placed on our homepage with the Premium sponsor ad images, linking back to your website
  • Homepage Slider: The slider is the rotating image gallery, front-and-center on our homepage.  Look for logos featured in our “Thank you to our generous sponsors!” slide. Clicking on this slide takes visitors to a customized “Thank You” message in our monthly Premium Sponsor Appreciation post, which also links back to your website
  • Logo/Graphic Ad in Ad rotator on every page on the website. The same 300x250 pixel ad is displayed on every page of the website, rotating with other sponsor ads. Premium Sponsors get twice as much exposure as all other Sponsor levels on our secondary pages
  • Calendar Page: Logos are featured on a printable copy of our monthly calendar that we provide to members to download.
  • Member Emails: Logos are featured in all 4 member emails during the contract month.
  • Facebook: Get a dedicated Facebook post that we will write, promoting your business to our members. We will take your input for the content, but we have found that a post written by us is more likely to be read and believed, and not look as much like a paid ad. This is a new feature in 2017!

Professional Sponsors

Get featured in an email and on our homepage with a dedicated post ("Ad-itorial" - an article that you write to promote your business. This post includes a large in-post ad:

  • Sponsor Post: Create your own stand-alone post with a customized message (100 words) to PAMP members! Your post includes 2 elements: 100-word message and half-page 600×350 pixel ad. Your post appears on our homepage in a dedicated area with a thumbnail of your 300x250  ad and a 50-word snippet.
  • Logo ad/image (300x250) placed in ad rotator on all secondary website pages, reaching the public and PAMP members
  • Member Email: Your post will be featured in 1 member email during the contract month. It appears as a Sponsor Post with a thumbnail of your 300x250 px ad and 50-word snippet.
  • Facebook: Get a dedicated Facebook post that we will write, promoting your business to our members. We will take your input for the content, but we have found that a post written by us is more likely to be read and believed, and not look as much like a paid ad. This is a new feature in 2017!

Featured Businesses

Featured on our website  with a dedicated post, including an in-post ad:

  • Sponsor Post: Create your own stand-alone post with a customized message (100 words) to PAMP members! Your post includes 2 elements: 100-word message and a 300x250 pixel ad. Your post appears on our website on our Blog page, linked directly from the homepage
  • Logo/Ad: Your 300x250 ad will be placed in an ad rotator on all webpages except the homepage, linked back to your featured ad
  • Member Email: Your post will be featured in one weekly email, with an image and snippet of the post that link back to the full post on the website.
Basic Sponsors

Logo/Ad featured on all webpages: 

  • Advertisement: Your 300x250 pixel ad is featured on every page on our website (except the homepage) in our ad rotator, linking back to your website

  • Aditorial included in one of the emails to PAMP members leading up to the event (just like the Professional Sponsor aditorial in a normal weekly e-newsletter)

Family Day

Key Sponsor ($500)

  • Get a booth at the event in a prominent location, provide a child-friendly activity at your booth and get the chance to share your marketing information with our members throughout the event

Key Sponsor ($1000)

  • Prominent table placement at the Fair
  • Special recognition in event marketing and promotional materials via print, online and email.
  • Your Logo will be included in our online promotional outreach, which includes 2 emails to our members and our online webpage and blog posts
  • Your Logo will be included in all printed promotional material leading up to and at the event.
  • Your Logo and 50 word ad will be included in the Preschool Fair Event Program distributed at the event
  • Your Logo and 50 word ad will be included in the Preschool Fair Directory posted online after the event, and remain online for the full year following the event on our "Preschool Fair" webpage
  • 300x250 pixel Logo/Ad included on the PAMP homepage during the month of the Preschool Fair (November) 
    NOTE: Key Sponsor gets a table at the event, so if you are a school and want to be a Key Sponsor, you do NOT need to also pay the $150 for School Participant
  • Aditorial included in one of the emails to PAMP members leading up to the event (just like the Professional Sponsor aditorial in a normal weekly e-newsletter)


Limited Sponsor ($300)

  • NOTE: Limited Sponsors do NOT get a table at the event. If you are a school and want to be a Limited Sponsor, you can do so, you just tell us you want to be a School Participant AND a Limited Sponsor

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the criteria for becoming a Sponsor?

Our mission is to enrich the lives of families with young children and PAMP chooses Sponsors that are aligned with our values and benefit our members. Our goal in developing business relationships is to support members to access services and resources. However, acceptance of advertising does not constitute endorsement by PAMP of any products or services. Please refer to our Terms of Service for more details.

How many Sponsorship spots are available? How is ad placement decided?

There are a limited number of advertising spots available (a maximum of 26 slots every month), including:

  • 6 Premium Sponsors
  • 4 Professional Sponsors
  • 4 Featured Businesses
  • 9 Basic Sponsors

Sponsorship advertising spots are first-come, first-serve.

I’d like to sign a longer contract, do I have to run my ads consecutively?

No, advertisements do not need to run consecutively. For many companies, business is cyclical and we try to accommodate their changing needs. Assuming availability, businesses with longer Sponsorship contracts (3- and 6-months) are able to designate which months they wish to run their adds – and their advertising schedule is outlined in our agreement.

What size and type of advertising files do you accept? Where do I find information about your advertising specifications and who do I submit images to?

All the details about our advertising image specifications are available on our Sponsor Ad Specs page. We accept png and jpg files (max 7 MB), the sizes vary depending on the type of sponsorship but are sized in pixels (px). All advertising images are due ten (10) days prior to the contract start date and sponsors can upload their images online on the Sponsor Ad Submission page.

What forms of payment are accepted? 

PAMP accepts payment by checks only (at this time we do not accept payment by credit card or PayPal.) Our standard terms are 15 days, so payment is due 15 days from the date of the invoice unless otherwise specified. Be advised that late payment may result in the loss of your sponsorship spot(s).

Does PAMP offer exclusivity agreements to sponsors?

PAMP does not to offer exclusivity agreements to Sponsors, as it would limit information about community resources and effectively compromise our ability to fulfill our mission.

However, we do aim to work with a diverse spectrum of Sponsors within each sponsor level. When possible, we try to represent different types of services and products, so for example, we would like to have each Premium Sponsor fall into a different type of business category such as parent education center, museum, yoga studio, and photography services.

We emphasize that we can only encourage and strive for business diversity in the Sponsorship Program and cannot guarantee businesses will be the only one in their category. Sponsorship is first come, first serve and the best way to secure a spot is through a long-term contract of 3-months or 6-months.

How large is the PAMP membership and what are the club demographics?

Our membership is approximately 2,000 members plus their children and spouses. Our base consists of highly-educated, affluent, professional parents who all want the best for their young children. We focus on families with children ages 0-5.

  • 29% reside in Palo Alto, 22% in Menlo Park, 11% Mountain View, 10% Los Altos
  • 78% work outside of the home full- or part-time
  • 61% are between 30 to 39 years old
  • 50% have a Masters or JD, 28% have a 4-year college degree, and 17% have a Ph.D., MD or Post-Doctorate degree
  • 90% have two or fewer children under the age of five

How many hits to you get on your website? 

  • Almost 70% of our website visitors are new.
  • Our top five web visitor locations include: Palo Alto, San Francisco, Menlo Park, Sunnyvale, and Mountain View. We continue to attract a growing national online community.
  • 15% percent is referral traffic, 18% is direct traffic and 55% search engine.
  • On average we have roughly 16,000 page views per month from 6,000-7,000 unique visitors.
