Favorite Parks for Toddlers
My original post asked for input on your favorite parks for toddlers in the area stretching from Atherton and Redwood City to Mountain View and Los Altos. Thanks to all that responded. A few of you have asked that I try to get this posted to the website, so I will speak to somebody about that. In the meantime, if anyone else would like to provide their input I am sure we would all appreciate it (especially if we want this on the website). Here is a summary (with the actual responses following):
1. Seminary Oaks (1 vote) [no shade]
2. Seale Park (1 vote)
3. Bowden Park, Palo Alto (2 votes)
4. Rinconada Park, Palo Alto (1 vote)
5. Park on Fremont Street (off of Middle) in Menlo Park (1 vote)
6. Holbrook Palmer Park, Atherton (1 vote)
7. Jackson Park, Menlo Park (1 vote)
8. Jack-Lyle Park, Menlo Park (1 vote)
9. Mitchell Park, Palo Alto (1 vote)
10. Stafford Park, Redwood City (2 votes)
11. Stulsaft Park, Redwood City (2 votes)
12. Eleanor Park, Palo Alto
I would also add Nealon Park in Menlo Park (on Middle close to El Camino). It has nice play structures with some shade and a big open grass field behind it.
